Pretzel Rolls

Finally after months of struggle, I managed to get the pretzel rolls that I dreamed of. For some reason, all this time, every attempt I made ended in failure, either because of the dough, or the shape that didn’t quite work for me, but most of the time… because I was a nub. Read More…

Baklava

It is not certain who invented baklava though many Eastern European countries claim it as their own. There are some variations as well but I think the recipe is pretty open to all kinds of improvements and/or new ingredients. In my case I simply substituted the walnuts with awesome pecans. Amazingly it can be ready within an hour, so I say it is fast and the sweetness of this damn thing can put you in a hyperglycaemic shock, but it’s all good. :) Read More…

Naan

I love to bake, I mean is not a passion per se, but being able to make your own stuff and experiment new things is just awesome. However, I do have a passion for bread :P and this beautiful Naan is my latest fixation. I have been making it continuously for the past couple of weeks and I don’t think I had enough yet. :) Anyway, here’s my recipe. Enjoy! Read More…

Can include raisins, walnuts, cinnamon, chocolate, marzipan, poppy seed, or fruit preserves which are rolled up inside… I am thinking Nutella right now! Sigh! Read More…

Remember my Easy Pizza Dough Recipe? This is my recipe of choice and it never failed me, not once. I am not a fan of thick crust pizzas but this time I was in the mood for a little more so I used ½ of the dough :)... and this is what came out of my oven.

If you are thinking of some weird ingredients and wonder how would they fit in a cookie recipe, worry no more. Anything goes in cookies. :) Personally I hate macadamia nuts and there is nothing weird about them either, only we never used them in cookies and it was kinda whole new experience for us.
