Chocolate Rum Balls

Another one of my favourite deserts, is like having a Rum shot with every piece… hmmm, maybe that’s why I like them so much. Still, make sure you don’t drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence of my Rum balls ;) . Read More…

Baklava

It is not certain who invented baklava though many Eastern European countries claim it as their own. There are some variations as well but I think the recipe is pretty open to all kinds of improvements and/or new ingredients. In my case I simply substituted the walnuts with awesome pecans. Amazingly it can be ready within an hour, so I say it is fast and the sweetness of this damn thing can put you in a hyperglycaemic shock, but it’s all good. :) Read More…

Pumpkin and Pecans Scones

I kinda like scones, though I never tried to add pumpkin as an ingredient. Weird enough, these little things were ready in no time and the taste… simply delicious. Well you have to make them yourself, to really experience the joy of having one every morning. :) Read More…

Apples and Pecans Cinnamon Rolls

Not a big fan of cinnamon rolls, but I thought I should give this recipe a chance, the combination of apples and pecans promised to turn something boring into delicious. Well it did, but I’m still not a fan :P , I mean I take chocolate over bread every time. However for the passionate out there this is a really good thing, very tasting no doubt about it and not very complicated than your usual cinnamon rolls recipe. Enjoy! Read More…

Remember my Easy Pizza Dough Recipe? This is my recipe of choice and it never failed me, not once. I am not a fan of thick crust pizzas but this time I was in the mood for a little more so I used ½ of the dough :)... and this is what came out of my oven.

Finally after months of struggle, I managed to get the pretzel rolls that I dreamed of. For some reason, all this time, every attempt I made ended in failure, either because of the dough, or the shape that didn't quite work for me, but most of the time... because I was a nub.

If you are thinking of some weird ingredients and wonder how would they fit in a cookie recipe, worry no more. Anything goes in cookies. :) Personally I hate macadamia nuts and there is nothing weird about them either, only we never used them in cookies and it was kinda whole new experience for us.
